Ultrasonic Liposuction. Get The Facts!

Liposuction is the removal of fat under the skin through a thin metal tube introduced under the skin through small incisions, usually about 5 mm in length. All different types of liposuction are variations on this theme.
The fat can be suck by a vacuum applied to the tube. Ultrasonic liposuction uses sound waves into heat energy converted to the liquid before it is suck. All liposuction creates a lesion tissue, causes fluid loss, and requires that the treated areas to compress a resilient garment, after the procedure to avoid the accumulation of blood or fluid in the region.
